Carrying of a Loaded Firearm: Not Guilty After Trial 

The client was charged with Carrying of a Firearm and Carrying of a Loaded Firearm in the City of New Bedford. It was alleged that the client threw the firearm while he was being chased on foot by members of the New Bedford Police Department. A firearm was recovered in a yard nearby. After a jury trial, the jury returned a verdict of not guilty. This case was heard in the New Bedford District Court.
