Motor Vehicle Homicide: Not Guilty After Trial

The client was charged with Motor Vehicle Homicide by means of negligent operation of a motor vehicle. It was alleged that the client was negligent when he took a left hand turn and did not have the right of way. The motor vehicle the client was driving and the other vehicle collided, resulting in the death of the other operator. After a two day bench trial in the Hingham District Court, the judge returned a verdict of not guilty.
